A Born Leader

One of Shayla’s first leadership roles was in her Girl Scout Troop (Troop 422).  Her parents, Wendell and Bonnie Lynch, encouraged and helped to cultivate her leadership skills in spite of being quite a shy young lady.  She went on to be a capable young leader in her church and became president of the youth chapter of the NAACP, all before reaching high school.

"For over nineteen years, I’ve passionately worked to build a stronger community through public service and advocacy.  I’m running for Council to continue that work with you.  Let’s Thrive Together!!!"
